I am a Registered Nurse with 33 years of bedside nursing practice in the fields of Labor & Delivery, Pediatrics, Neonatal Intensive Care, Mother/Baby Postpartum, Women’s Health, Medical Surgical nursing, travel nursing, and Legal Nurse Consultant and founder of Creative OB Solutions, LLC.
I came to UNCW in 2016 part-time and was hired full time in 2017.

Research Interests
DNP project, Development of an Obstetric Rapid Response Team in a rural Hospital addressed the growing morbidity and mortality rates globally, nationally, and locally. Dr. Williams project aimed to provide discrete emergency care through establishment, manning, equipping, and training of personnel of an Obstetric Rapid Response Team (OB-RRT). She has traveled globally, nationally, and locally to conferences sharing her findings and creating OB-RRTs.
