Charlotte A Weiss
Assistant Professor
Charlotte Weiss, PhD, MSN, ACNP is an early nurse investigator and previous NRSA Post Doctoral Fellow of NewCourtland Center of Health and Transitions at the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing. Her program of research intersects creative arts and qualitative methods to improve the emotional and social well-being of family caregivers of older adults living with chronic and serious illness. Trained as a Caritas Coach by nurse theorist Dr. Jean Watson, Dr. Weiss operates from a holistic lens and an interconnected unified worldview. She desires to incorporate community-engaged research approaches into her research with underserved populations of patient-family caregiver dyads in palliative care spaces.
