Colette B. Waddill
Simulation Learning Center Coordinator and Clinical Assistant Professor
Colette Waddill is a Clinical Assistant Professor and serves as the Program Coordinator for the CHHS Simulation Learning Program. Dr. Waddill's nursing experience is primarily in labor and delivery, postpartum, high-risk antepartum, newborn nursery, and lactation. She has been a nurse educator since 2013 and earned her Certified Nurse Eductor certification in 2014 and her Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator certification in 2015. Dr. Waddill has facilitated student learning in the classroom, skill lab, simulation lab, and clinical settings, covering concepts related to women's and infant's health, adult health, health equity, complementary therapies, and transcultural healthcare. Dr. Waddill was a recipient of the DAISY Award for Extraordinary Nursing Fauclty in 2022 and recognized for her scholarship with the MCN 2021 Practice Article of the Year award.
