She is dedicated to helping students navigate their academic journey by understanding degree requirements, developing clear paths to graduation, and exploring opportunities that support their personal, academic, and professional goals.

As a North Carolina native, Sophie values the diverse experiences she has gained throughout the UNC System and is passionate about supporting students from across the state. She believes meaningful relationships built on trust and mutual respect are the foundation of effective advising. Through a student-centered approach, Sophie strives to create a supportive environment where students feel valued and empowered to take ownership of their academic and personal growth.

Sophie is also passionate about helping students take advantage of opportunities that enrich their college experience and foster personal and professional development.
