Elisabeth F. Peters
Senior Lecturer
Ms. Elisabeth Peters has been a lecturer in the Mathematics & Statistics department since 2017. She primarily teaches lower division mathematics courses that serve both mathematics and non-mathematics majors. Ms. Peters currently serves as the UNCW Math Placement Coordinator as well as the Course Coordinator for Trigonometry (MAT 112) and Precalculus: Algebra & Trigonometry (MAT 160). She is passionate about curriculum development and the scope and sequence of mathematics courses. As part of the UNC System Math Pathways Initiative, Ms. Peters serves on the UNCW Math Pathways team, which creates and redesigns math courses and develops instructional pathways for UNCW undergraduates pursuing a broad range of degree programs. Ms. Peters is a proud UNCW alum and grateful to be teaching the next generation of Seahawks!
