Dr. William Opoku-Agyeman is a seasoned health services researcher and educator specializing in strategic population health management for healthcare organizations, notably Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) and hospitals. His work primarily examines health promotion activities, and community needs assessments, employing sophisticated statistical methods on national datasets to evaluate healthcare performance.

Dr. Opoku-Agyeman holds a Ph.D. in Health Services Administration from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, a Master’s in Geographic Information Science from the University of Akron, and a Master’s in Public Health from Kent State University. Currently, he serves as an Associate Professor of Healthcare Management at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington, where he brings over a decade of instructional experience. His areas of expertise encompass measurement science, model validity, and predictive modeling, bridging quantitative and qualitative methods.
