Sarah A. Noland
Lecturer
Sarah Noland, M.S., is a Lecturer in the Exercise Science program within the School of Health and Applied Human Sciences at the University of North Carolina Wilmington (UNCW). She began her teaching career at UNCW in 2016 as a part-time lecturer and transitioned to a full-time role in 2021.
Mrs. Noland teaches a variety of courses, including Introduction to Exercise Science, Anatomy and Physiology I, Exercise Prescription I, and Practicum in Exercise Science. Her teaching is informed by extensive clinical experience, having previously worked as a Clinical Exercise Physiologist at several hospitals along the East Coast, including New Hanover Regional Medical Center. Before joining UNCW, Sarah also served as the Coordinator for Eastern Maine Medical Center’s Employee Wellness program and Cardiac Wellness of Maine, where she played a key role in promoting preventive health and rehabilitative care.
