Ashley Hord Navarra

Office and Budget Manager

Ashley joined UNCW in 2007 and has served as the Office and Budget Manager in the Career Center since 2015. In this role, she supervises the administrative team, which includes one full-time staff member and three student employees. Ashley manages the daily operations of the front office and leads key administrative functions such as purchasing, travel, reimbursements, business entertainment, interdepartmental invoices, and computer inventory. As the Budget Manager, she tracks and analyzes financial activity, manages payments, prepares monthly budget reports, and provides budget recommendations to leadership.

She also serves as the Career Center’s Hiring Coordinator and Timekeeper, supporting recruitment and onboarding for staff and student positions, coordinating interviews and candidate travel, and offering guidance on HR processes such as leave reporting.
