Kimberly A. Miller

Director of Institutional Effectiveness

As part of the Institutional Research and Planning team, Kimberly oversees the Office of Institutional Effectiveness, which facilitates and supports research, assessment, accreditation, continuous improvement activities and the supporting technologies for the university. More specifically, Kimberly facilitates all educational program and administrative unit assessment and manages the following university technologies: Watermark Planning & Self Study, Student Learning & Licensure, Faculty Success, Taskstream Accountability Management System, Qualtrics, Anthology IDEA Course Evaluations, and Explorance Blue Course Evaluations.

Prior to coming to UNCW, Kimberly earned my Doctorate at the University of Maryland Global Campus (UMGC), researching Knowledge Management in Higher Education Online Learning Environments and directed research and assessment initiatives at institutions within the Maryland Higher Education System, working at Anne Arundel Community College, Chesapeake College University of Maryland Global Campus, and University of Maryland Baltimore County . Kim has also taught senior-level undergraduate courses for seven years within the UMGC Human Resource Program.
