Megan W Martin
Assistant Professor
Dr. Megan Wydick Martin is an Assistant Professor of Business Analytics in the Congdon School of Supply Chain, Business Analytics, and Information Systems at the University of North Carolina Wilmington. A proud alumna of UNCW, she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics in 2005 and an MBA from the Cameron School of Business in 2007. She later completed her Ph.D. in Business Information Technology at Virginia Tech and previously served as an Associate Professor at Meredith College.
Dr. Martin completed the SAS Data Science program in 2018 and holds certifications in Google Analytics, Microsoft Excel, and micro-credentials in Python, R, Power BI, and SQL. Her research has been published in several ABDC-ranked journals, including Decision Sciences, International Journal of Applied Management and Technology, and the Decision Sciences Journal of Innovative Education.
Beyond academia, Dr. Martin is President and COO of the Bryce Martin Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting blind and visually impaired children. She also consults with corporations on business process improvement, inventory management support systems, and nonprofit development.
