Jennifer Marie Lozano
Associate Professor
Dr. Lozano is a scholar of Latinx literature, culture, and digital humanities. She enjoys working with students and colleagues on community-engaged research and teaching that encourages knowledge production both inside and outside of the university. Dr. Lozano is currently working on her first book (under contract with Ohio State University Press), which identifies Latinx life writers who create digitally mediated oral and audiovisual texts (Instagram poetry, podcasts, digital archives, b/vlogs) and demonstrates how they are a source of feminist knowledge production, aesthetics, and care in the tradition of Latina and women of color feminist theory and praxis.
Dr. Lozano also coordinates the Digital Humanities Minor.
