Elizabeth Loparits

Lecturer

Dr. Elizabeth Loparits is an active performer and educator, currently serving as senior lecturer and faculty collaborative pianist at the University of North Carolina Wilmington. She is also collaborative pianist with Opera Wilmington, Wilmington Voices, and Southern Harmonie, and pianist/organist at St. Stanislaus Church. Loparits has given recitals in Hungary, Costa Rica, and the United States, including the Southern Exposure New Music Series, the Society for American Music Conference, Sax Fest International Conference, the UNCW Beckwith Recital Series, Piano Masterworks and Rush Hour Concert Series, Caterina Jarboro Memorial Recital, and with the Wilmington Symphony and Opera Wilmington Orchestras. Loparits has recorded with Navona Records, and collaborated at the Richard Luby International Violin Symposium, Ronald Sachs International Competition, Opera North, the North American Saxophone Alliance Conference, and with an American Protégé Competition winner at Weill Hall, Carnegie Hall.
