Tyler J Kybartas

Dr. Tyler Kybartas earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology and Health Promotion from the University of Wyoming where he also was a member of the University Swimming Team. He then completed his Master's of Science in Kinesiology and Health Promotion with an emphasis in Exercise Physiology from the University of Wyoming. Next, he spent one year conducting research in Children's Hospital, Colorado in the emergency department. Following Colorado, he earned his Doctorate Degree from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville in Kinesiology and Sport Studies with an emphasis in Pediatric Exercise Physiology and a minor in Biostatistics and Epidemiology.

Children's physical activity patterns and levels during unstructured free play time; Children's motivation for physical activity and how it is related to behaviors, obesity, and other wellness factors; Youth physical activity and cognition.
