V. Leigh Kline
Career Success Coach
Leigh serves as a Career Coach for the Cameron School of Business, where she supports students in exploring career paths, developing strong resumes, and securing positions. Since joining the career coaching team in 2022, Leigh has developed a high-impact Canvas course that reaches hundreds of business students and co-created a podcast highlighting the school’s business concentration options. In addition to one-on-one coaching, she leads workshops and designs professional development opportunities that equip students with the tools to succeed in today’s competitive job market.
Leigh joined UNCW in 2017 as an Academic Advisor for the Cameron School of Business. Before coming to UNCW, she advised students in the Heavener School of Business at the University of Florida and Mercy University in New York. In addition to her advising work, Leigh has taught several courses, including Transfer Seminar at UNCW, Warrington Welcome at the University of Florida, and Critical Inquiry at Mercy University. Her dedication to student success earned her the University of Florida’s Professional Advisor of the Year Award for excellence, innovation, and effectiveness in advising. A Gallup-Certified Strengths Coach since 2025, Leigh is passionate about helping students identify their strengths, build confidence, and achieve success in their academic and professional journeys.
