MPA Program Coordinator

Craig Kelly serves as the Master of Public Administration (MPA) Program Coordinator within the Department of Public and International Affairs at UNCW. In this role, he oversees the administrative functions of the MPA program, with a primary focus on attracting and enrolling well-qualified applicants. He also provides advising and career counseling to current students to support their academic and professional growth.

Craig teaches the Financial Management and Decision-Making course in the MPA program and undergraduate First-Year Seminar courses, where he shares practical insights drawn from his extensive career in public service and nonprofit management.

In addition to his teaching responsibilities, Craig is the Managing Editor for the Journal of Public and Nonprofit Affairs (JPNA), an open-access publication that advances research on the management and operations of public and nonprofit organizations. His dedication to student success earned him the 2024 UNCW Staff Excellence in Student Relations Award.

Beyond academia, Craig has served on numerous nonprofit boards, contributing his expertise to strengthen community programs. His diverse and impactful career reflects a steadfast commitment to fostering positive change in the public and nonprofit sectors.
