Theresa Jackson

Temporary EPA/Faculty

Theresa’s courses explore the modern Middle East, the states of the Persian Gulf, and the enduring legacies of colonialism in parts of the developing world, with a particular focus on authoritarianism and conflict. She developed the first English curriculum for a private school in Bahrain, where she lived for several years. Theresa has also contributed to ESL, citizenship, and refugee resettlement programs in Colorado, supporting populations from Africa, the Middle East, and the former Soviet Union. Having traveled to more than 50 countries, she is steadily working on a longer list to still visit.
