Carlene C. Jackson

Carlene has been a part of the UNCW community for over 24 years. As the Assistant Director of Institutional Reporting, she supervises two data analysts, coordinates the submission of enterprise data, supports the implementation of the enterprise data warehouse, and assists with the monitoring of various institutional performance metrics. Her skills include project management, relational database queries, data analysis, data visualization, customer support, Microsoft Office, and ERP student information systems. In her current role Carlene also represents UNCW and IRP on various institutional and external committees.

Carlene has a strong background in higher education. Her UNCW experience prior to joining IRP includes positions with Information Technology Services, Registrar’s Office, University Advancement, and the Tutoring & Learning Center.

Before joining UNCW Carlene worked in the private sector: Systems Engineer at IBM, providing marketing, installation, and technical support for mid-range (small business) information systems; Administrative Unit Director at Coastal Horizons Center, Inc., providing fiscal management, budget preparation and monitoring, office management, and human resources administration.

B.S. in Business Management & Marketing from the University of Delaware.
M.B.A. with a concentration in Business Analytics from UNC Wilmington.
Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.
