David Hoot
Senior Lecturer
Dr. Hoot teaches Latin and Classical civilization courses in the department of World Languages and Cultures. He comes to UNCW by way of the University of Florida where he completed his dissertation on the mixed fortunes of the famous Greek healing sanctuary at Epidaurus during the late Roman Empire. His academic interests include Latin pedagogy, Roman History, and Classical literature.
