Darlene Hicks
Clinical Assistant Professor
Dr. Hicks joined UNCW in 2023. She has over 30 years of nursing experience and 10 years experience teaching in higher education. Prior to joining the SON at UNCW, Dr. Hicks taught at NC Central University and Watts College of Nursing. Dr. Hicks is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Nursing Honor Society, the National League for Nurses, the American Nurses Association and the North Carolina Nurses Association.
