James Hawarny

Jimmy Hawarny is from Michigan, where he completed his undergraduate degree in Business Management from Oakland University and competed on the track team as well. In 2012, he moved to Dallas Texas while working with Volkswagen Financial Services. He completed his Masters degree in Kinesiology from DBU, and moved to Austin Texas where he worked as a PE Teacher and Athletic Director at area schools. He then landed at Texas State University processing travel for their staff. Jimmy moved to Wilmington in 2021 where he worked as a business specialist for UNCW Athletics. He now serves as the travel specialist for CHHS - College of Health & Human Services.
