Meki Graham

Clinical Associate Professor

Dr. Mēki Jacobs Graham is a Clinical Associate Professor at the University of North Carolina Wilmington’s College of Health & Human Services, School of Nursing. She mentors future nurses and nurse practitioners, emphasizing the importance of culturally competent, patient-centered, and evidence-based care.

Dr. Graham has a nursing career spanning over two decades, with expertise in nursing education, clinical practice, and healthcare leadership. She holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice in Leadership & Management from Gardner-Webb University, as well as advanced degrees from Duke University, East Carolina University, and the University of North Carolina at Pembroke. Her nursing journey began with an associate's degree from Southeastern Community College, where she now serves on the Board of Directors.

As an Adult Nurse Practitioner, Dr. Graham is dedicated to rural primary care, with a passion for public health, health promotion, and expanding access to care. She is especially committed to mentoring the next generation of healthcare leaders.

When she’s not teaching or practicing, Dr. Graham enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends, enjoying outdoor life, and cheering on her favorite sports teams.
