Joyce A Gibson

Joyce is a higher education professional with over 20 years of experience in student success, admissions, and academic operations. She currently serves as a Student Success Advisor at the University of North Carolina Wilmington’s Cameron School of Business, where she supports graduate students through personalized advisement, strategic recruitment, and digital engagement. Prior to UNCW, Joyce held leadership roles at Stony Brook University and Briarcliffe College, where she specialized in graduate advising and admissions, policy implementation, and data reporting. She holds an M.S. in Human Services Leadership from St. Joseph’s University and a B.P.S. in Business Management from Five Towns College. Joyce is passionate about improving student outcomes through collaboration, innovation, and inclusive practices.
