Business Officer

Analyze budgets and financial data across the college. Manage departmental budgets according to the fiscal year management plan established for the college.
Develop standard operating procedures for business processes for the college that comply with applicable university internal and external policies and guidelines while meeting the unique needs of the college.
Coordinate with departments to facilitate employee recruitment and position changes over the employee lifecycle. Manages the HR paperwork, employee budgets, adjustments, and position control.
Interprets, modifies, and monitors internal and external policies and procedures associated with faculty load and compensation and electronic personnel action forms. Trains other business staff to support these functions.
Make recommendations to the assistant dean regarding lapsed salary and temporary salaries.
