Pamela G Balogh

Clinical Assistant Professor

Dr. Pamela Balogh is a dedicated Clinical Assistant Professor, Graduate Clinical Coordinator, and Family Nurse Practitioner at the University of North Carolina Wilmington. Dr. Balogh teaches distance education courses in the BSN-DNP program and MSN-NE program, and coordinates courses in these programs. Her focus and expertise lie in population health. She is also currently still in practice part-time as a family nurse practitioner at a local health department in southeastern North Carolina.

In 2025, Dr. Balogh completed the Community Engaged Scholars Academy, further enhancing her skills and commitment to community health and education. She is deeply committed to precepting and mentoring the next generation of healthcare professionals. With a passion for advancing healthcare education and practice, Dr. Balogh brings extensive experience and expertise to her roles. She is dedicated to enhancing patient care through innovative teaching and clinical excellence.

As a Family Nurse Practitioner, Dr. Pamela Balogh is actively involved in various committees within the School of Nursing (SON) at the University of North Carolina Wilmington. Her current committee service includes:

Dr. Balogh also serves as an FNP advisor and is on the board for the local Sigma Theta Tau chapter. She has played an active role in the DNP student/faculty in-person on-campus training known as DNP Intensives, helping to prepare and disseminate content. Additionally, she is a preceptor to FNP students and has been a site champion for a DNP student project.
