Hannah Michelle Altergott
Clinical Assistant Professor
Dr. Altergott is a Clinical Assistant Professor and the Prelicensure Concentration Lead in the School of Nursing. She teaches in the BSN, RN-BSN, and MSN programs. Prior to joining the SON faculty at UNCW, Dr. Altergott served as the Nursing Department Chair at Sandhills Community College. Her clinical experience includes inpatient adult and pediatric psychiatric care, adult med/surg, outpatient, school health, and clinical education. She is passionate about nursing student well-being and best practices in nursing education. Originally from Box Elder, South Dakota, Dr. Altergott loves the beach and is proud to be part of the extraordinary faculty at UNCW SON!
