Society of Physics Students (SPS)

The Society of Physics Students (SPS) is a professional physics association explicitly designed for students. SPS is managed by the American Institute of Physics (AIP) as a service to students and the physics community. SPS membership is open to anyone interested in physics; for membership information, contact your local SPS Chapter Adviser.

SPS exists to promote educational activities for all students interested in physics. Current and past SPS projects initiated and managed by UNCW students. (The local SPS home page is currently not working).

Students for the Exploration and Development of Space (SEDS)

Our SEDS group started in Fall 2009 and has an active group of students. Students from all majors are welcome to participate.
