ELEVATE Leadership Summit: April 1st-April 3rd, 2022

ELEVATE Leadership Summit

The Office of Student Leadership and Engagement is excited to host the 5th Annual ELEVATE Leadership Summit on April 1-3, 2022!

What is ELEVATE?

Built on the foundation of Kouzes and Posner’s Five Practices of Exemplary Leadership, this Leadership Summit encourages students to explore the relationships, choices, and challenges of leadership. Participants will use reflection, discussion, and dynamic team challenges to take their leadership to the next level. This program is open to all undergraduate students with at least one semester left at UNCW. Participants will deepen their understanding of leadership and bring their new knowledge back to their campus communities.

Program Details

ELEVATE will be returning to Camp Kirkwood for this year's incredible annual program! Participants of this program will be taken to Camp Kirkwood for a weekend full of engaging activities in both large and small groups, led by Lead Facilitators and Small Group Facilitators. In addition to learning and reflection, participans will take advantage of outdoor activities at Kirkwood, like the high and low ropes course, v-swing, archery, canoeing, and the zip line.

The total cost to attend ELEVATE is $100. This cost will cover your transportation, lodging, and all meals and snacks for the weekend. Students are required to pay a non-refundable registration fee of $20. The remaining $80 will be covered by either a campus sponsor or a Campus Life sponsorship.
