The goal of Hawk's Harvest is to make food available for all UNCW students. We realize how challenging it can be to focus on your studies if you are worried about the basic necessities - like how to pay for groceries. While it may only be temporary, that doesn’t mean it is any less real. Hawk's Harvest is available to serve all enrolled UNCW students with a One Card. Please see below for schedule and location information.
COVID-19: If you are currently experiencing financial hardship due to COVID-19 related losses, please consider requesting Emergency Fund assistance through the Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid.

Hawk's Harvest @ CCM
This location features a more traditional shopping experience, in that the shopper selects their food items from the shelves and staff are on hand to answer questions related to food items/recipes, campus resources, etc. Pantry items include an expanded selection pantry and toiletry items, as well as frozen foods, produce, bread and more.

Hawk's Harvest @ FUU
This location features a “grab ‘n go” option, in that the shopper still selects their food items but there is a smaller selection and the amount will include enough food for a few days. This approach is meant to be quick and easy, and only takes a few minutes. Items include pantry basics like pasta/sauce, cereal, soup, mac ‘n cheese, and select toiletry items.

Who can utilize the Hawk’s Harvest Food Pantry?
Both pantry locations are open to any UNCW student who is currently taking classes and who is need of food. Shoppers need to show a valid UNCW OneCard upon arrival at the pantry location of their choice.
What other food resources are available, aside from Hawk’s Harvest?
Students can also request meal swipes that provide access to the “all you care to eat” dining locations on campus (Wag, Dubs, Shore) through the Swipes for Seahawks program. Just fill out a brief application and the request will be evaluated by the Case Manager in the Office of the Dean of Students.
I would like to help support Hawk’s Harvest, what can I do?
Food drive donations are what keep Hawk’s Harvest going! Consider coordinating a food drive with your office, club, or group. A list of frequently needed items can be found below and you can always email us for additional information. We ask that large donations be pre-sorted by item type before dropping off at the CCM location – the only location where we accept donations.
Please check out the Hawk's Harvest Food Pantry WaveLink page for any updates to the hours posted above!
