New to Online Teaching

“I have been very apprehensive about my ability to develop (and teach) a successful online course,” (Faculty quote in May 2018).

Does the apprehension above resonate with you? Well, you are not alone. Being new to online teaching can be an overwhelming and challenging prospect! Teaching online requires you to create a learning experience that is engaging and interactive by building a community. The first step towards creating that experience is to design and develop a course by working with your eLearning team (instructional designers, instructional technologist, and video technician) who can provide the support and guidance you need to ensure you are confident and successful in accomplishing the challenge.

The end result: “The boot camp (conducted by DEeL) has given me the confidence that I need to mount this challenge. My course may not initially be the best example of online learning, but the quality of the course will be SIGNIFICANTLY enhanced as a result of attending this boot camp. Thank you!” (Quote from Faculty in May 2018)
