Code of Student Life

The Code of Student Life (PDF) outlines the rights and responsibilities and expected levels of conduct of students in both the university and greater Wilmington communities. The purpose of the rules outlined is to prevent abuse of the rights of others and to maintain an atmosphere in the university community appropriate for an institution of higher education. The Code of Student Life will:

  • Help all members of the university community (students/student organizations, parents, faculty, and staff) gain a better understanding of student rights and responsibilities;
  • Serve as a resources for help with university conduct polices and student problems (i.e. substance use);
  • Explain the responsibilities of various boards and committees.

All questions regarding the Code of Student Life should be directed to the Office of the Dean of Students.
