With over two decades of teaching experience in public schools, Kim Carr ’24M felt ready to explore a career in film. Despite initially feeling like she was at a disadvantage due to her limited experience in the field, Carr embraced collaboration with her classmates and discovered a sense of community within UNCW's film studies program.
