Spring into Action with Community Service!

It is officially the time of year when the flowers start to bloom and the days grow longer, which makes it the perfect time to get outside and give back to our amazing community! As you all may be aware, UNCW staff members are awarded 24 hours of Community Service Leave to use in recognition of the state’s diverse needs for volunteers to support schools, communities, citizens, and non-profit organizations. With this leave, our department is very excited to offer a variety of volunteer opportunities for UNCW staff to make the most of this very special leave.
 
We currently have numerous organizations eager for your support lined up and available to UNCW staff members! Whether you're passionate about helping local schools, assisting community projects, or supporting non-profits, there's a volunteer shift for you. Let's come together and make a positive impact in this beautiful, spring weather!

  • Time: 4/11- 9:00 am-12: 00 pm & 1:00 pm-4:00 pm, 4/12 – 9:00 am-12:00 pm

Special Olympics North Carolina – Spring 2025 NHC Games
  • Date: Thursday, April 24th, 2025 (Adults and Adult Groups)
  • Time: 9:00 am – 12:00 pm
