Future Teacher Conferences – September 25 and November 13

Each semester, the Watson College holds Future Teacher Conference events for aspiring teachers. The events provide an opportunity for High Schools, Community Colleges, and Home School groups to bring students to UNCW so students who have an interest in education can feel what it is like to be a Watson student.

During their time here, we will offer sessions for students based on their educational interests, interactive opportunities and a student panel discussion.

Future Teacher Conferences are FREE to any student interested in learning about education as a career. What’s more, every student who attends is eligible for a scholarship to attend UNCW!

Two conferences will be held in fall 2026: Friday, September 25 and Friday, November 13. Slots fill up fast! We have already had several schools register for fall 2026 events.

School administrators interested in bringing a group of students, or students interested in attending should contact Dean Heath at heatht@uncw.edu.
