UNCW’s Jr. Seahawk Academy a summer program for middle-grades students (ages 10-14) that promotes learning with engaging, fun, hands-on activities. The program is open to all students with a focus on youth from economically-disadvantaged and underrepresented populations. A specific goal of Junior Seahawk Academy is to help youth develop interests in STEM, Health, and Teacher Education careers.
This summer, Junior Seahawk will offer two one-week sessions, and students have the option to participate on-campus or on Zoom. Activities will include exciting technology explorations, seminars, and creative projects designed and presented by students. Summer programs will be offered:
- June 11- 14, 2024
- July 22 - 25, 2024
