The Cameron School of Business continued its commitment to global business education through active participation in the X-Culture Global Business Week, held in Vaasa, Finland, in August 2025. The international symposium brought together more than 200 participants from more than 50 countries, fostering cross-cultural collaboration and leadership development.
Representing CSB, faculty member Karen Lynden served on the Global Business Week Conference Leadership Team and led the faculty development track, contributing to the academic rigor and professional growth opportunities offered during the week-long event. Lynden, a lecturer in the CSB Department of Management, also led a session on coaching global virtual teams, a core component of the X-Culture curriculum.
“Seeing our students perform as confident and successful global collaborators is truly exciting and a point of pride for us, as it reflects the transformative power of experiential learning and global engagement at CSB.”

Phillip Mueller, a recent CSB international student, was selected as an X-Culture ambassador, a competitive role reserved for top-performing students who have completed the X-Culture coaching certification. As an ambassador, Mueller helped coordinate the event and mentored student participants from around the world. He earned his Global Virtual Team Collaboration and Consulting Project Certificate as a component of Lynden’s MGT 352 International Management course.
During the 2024-25 academic year, 78 CSB students earned X-Culture certificates for global collaboration and consulting. Among them, CSB international student Teagan Price’s team received a Best Report Award for their consulting work with Italian winery Cocci Grifoni, showcasing the caliber of student contributions to real-world business challenges.
