Update: Bomb Threat Unfounded

Following a thorough investigation by UNCW Police in coordination with local, state and federal law enforcement agencies, the bomb threat submitted via the university website has been determined to be unfounded. No explosive devices were located, and there is no imminent danger to campus. 

We extend our sincere appreciation to the law enforcement officials who responded swiftly and professionally to ensure the safety of our community.
