Jan. 26 - Shots Fired Near Campus; Suspect Apprehended

The UNCW Police Department received reports from the Wilmington Police Department about shots fired a few minutes ago in the 400 block of South College Road, adjacent to the UNCW main campus. There are no reported injuries, and the suspect has been apprehended.

Based on this information, there is no immediate threat to campus. Law enforcement remains in the area conducting an investigation; traffic may be impacted. The safety and security of our students, faculty, staff and campus community is paramount.
