Fans attending UNCW athletic contests must use a credit/debit card or mobile device to purchase concession or souvenir items during the upcoming 2023-24 season.
UNCW is implementing a new cashless and tap-to-pay policy for all athletic facilities. Magnetic swipe and NFC tap for VISA and MasterCard cards will be accepted. Tap-to-pay services for Apple Pay, Google Pay, Samsung Pay and NFC Reader are also available.
Cash will still be accepted for game tickets at the box office.
The new policy begins Aug. 9.
