The Kenan Auditorium 2022-23 performing arts season has been unveiled. Formerly known as UNCW Presents, the series brings nationally recognized and locally celebrated artists to campus’ largest performing arts venue.

The season kicks off on Sept. 16 with comedian extraordinaire Damon Wayans and concludes on March 31 with the Wilmington Dance Festival.

The 2022-23 schedule:

• Sept. 16: Damon Wayans
• Sept. 24: Gaspard&Dancers
• Oct. 28: Chicago Dance Crash
• Nov. 9: David Sedaris
• Nov. 12: Ballet Hispánico
• Jan. 20: One Noble Journey with Mike Wiley
• March 31: Wilmington Dance Festival

In addition to the performance series, the Office of the Arts is offering “Above and Beyond: Artist Residencies and Community Engagement Programming” as an accompanying platform to address current social justice issues. More information may be found at uncw.edu/arts/beyond.
