Last night at around 9:15 p.m., a female commuter student, skateboarding along Cahill Drive near Reynolds Drive, was struck by what appeared to be pellets fired from an air rifle. The description of the person firing the weapon was a male, approximately age 18-25, possibly wearing a hoodie. The weapon was fired from the bed of a burgundy Dodge Ram, four-door pickup truck with gold accents.

The reporting party in this case was not seriously injured. The UNCW Police Department is seeking information that would assist us in identifying the person or persons responsible for this.
