Twelve Seahawks Selected for the 2021 Class of Leadership Wilmington

Twelve UNCW alumni and staff members are among the 32 individuals selected for the Wilmington Chamber of Commerce’s 2021 class of Leadership Wilmington.

The 10-month program challenges and motivates leaders to utilize their skills for the betterment of the community. Participants discuss various community issues and challenges, including the dynamics of regional social and economic change and diversity and inclusion. The class is also responsible for the planning and implementation of Work on Wilmington, a day of community service for New Hanover County. Volunteers participate in service projects throughout the community designed to improve the quality of life for residents.

Individuals selected for the 2021 class represent the corporate, business, education, professional, nonprofit and governmental sectors. UNCW alumni and staff members include:
