A Sea of Opportunities: Register Now for MarineQuest Summer Options
Thursday, January 21, 2021
It’s never too soon to think about summer. No matter the mode of delivery (in-person, online or hybrid) – an outstanding summer educational experience provided by MarineQuest, the official marine science outreach program for UNCW, the Watson College of Education and the Center for Marine Science – is certain.
As part of the pre-registration process, potential participants will be asked to indicate which modes of delivery and associated programs they are interested in attending.
Options include:
In-person (ages 4-17): Following CDC, state and university guidance and implementing best practices related to social distancing, hygiene and safety protocols, face-to-face operations in will be conducted in classrooms, labs, field sites and vehicles.
Hybrid (ages 7-17): Hybrid programs will take place online in the afternoon with a morning outdoors option for participants who live within commuting distance. The CDC, state and university allows for programs outdoors in small groups with social distancing protocols in place.
Online only (ages 4-17): For these offerings, the CDC, state and university have not provided permission for any face-to-face programming due to safety concerns.
Pre-registration is open now. For the full calendar, pricing and links to apply, see uncw.edu/marinequest.
