After an initial assessment of campus impacts and in consultation with local and national weather authorities, the university can confirm that campus operations will resume Wednesday, Aug. 5.   
 
Students 
 

• Students who have signed up for a Drop-Off time on Wednesday, Aug. 5 should report at their scheduled time. Campus will be open for Drop-Off beginning at 10 a.m. Contact Housing and Residence Life for additional information at housing@uncw.edu. 

• Classes that follow the traditional fall semester calendar are not in session now. Those courses are scheduled to begin Aug. 19. Current OAP classes will continue as scheduled. 

 
Employees

• Employees working remotely who were scheduled to return to campus on Monday, Aug. 3 should report to campus on Wednesday, Aug. 5 unless otherwise instructed by your supervisors. 
• Employees who have been working on campus should report to campus Wednesday unless instructed otherwise by your supervisors.
• Employees facing storm-related challenges in returning to work should make the decision that is best for their personal circumstances and communicate with their supervisors accordingly.

 
Most campus events were previously canceled due to COVID-19 health and safety guidelines.  Please visit specific event websites for more information.
