Following the announcement several weeks ago that summer programming through June 24 was being canceled, the below message from UNCW's Office of Community Engagement references any remaining programming that had been scheduled to begin after June 24 – also now canceled. UNCW issued the following statement on Monday, May 4:

UNCW summer programs, camps, and conferences (non-Athletics) have been canceled through August 5. However,  some camps and programs will be offering innovative and exciting participation online; please check individual programs’ websites for information. UNCW Athletics will announce a decision about their camps by May 15. It is disappointing to have to cancel non-Athletics programming but the university is committed to proceeding with  campers’ safety, and that of the community, in mind.
