The UNCW Administrative Annex building, the building at 626 North MacMillan Ave. and Isaac Bear Early College High School will conduct a tornado drill at 9:30 a.m., March 3. The drill is taking place during North Carolina’s Severe Weather Preparedness Week.

The university does not plan to activate the Seahawk Warning Siren System or distribute UNCWAlert text messages, voice mails or emails during the drill. During an actual tornado warning, the university would utilize the sirens and the UNCWAlert system to keep the campus community informed about severe weather.
