2019 Economic Outlook Conference to Discuss “Preparing for the Future”
Monday, September 30, 2019
The 2019 Economic Outlook Conference will focus on “preparing for the future” and will feature speakers from UNCW’s Cameron School of Business, as well as local company nCino and Bank of America.
Hosted by CSB’s Swain Center for Executive and Professional Education in partnership with the Wilmington Chamber of Commerce, the conference will include presentations by Joseph P. Quinlan, head of market strategy at Bank of America; Nathan Snell, co-founder and vice president of innovation at nCino; and regional and national economic forecasts by UNCW economists Adam Jones and Tom Simpson.
“There is much speculation about the economy, and so it is extremely valuable to understand the data and have experts share their insights,” said Richard Walsh, Swain Center director. “This information aids the region in determining economic development priorities and guides business leaders in determining key investments in their future growth. Those who have attended the conference in the past have praised its value.”
The conference will begin with a continental breakfast at 7:30 a.m. on Oct. 10 in the Burney Center. The expert presentations and economic forecast presentations will begin at 8 a.m., with the program concluding by 9:45 a.m. Tickets are $45 per person or $450 for a table of ten.
