For the seventh consecutive season, the UNCW men's tennis team has been recognized by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) as an All-Academic Team.

The squad was the top academic performer among UNCW's men's teams during both the fall and spring semesters of the 2018-19 year. Nine out of the 11 players achieved a GPA of 3.50 or better on a 4.00 scale.

The ITA All-Academic Team award is open to any member program that has a cumulative team GPA of 3.20 or above (on a 4.00 scale). Overall, 940 teams across all five divisions of college tennis were honored by the sport's governing body. The Seahawks were one of just four squads from the Colonial Athletic Association recognized as an ITA All-Academic Team.
