UNCW Associate Professor Narcisa Pricope Receives Fulbright Research and Teaching Award

UNCW Associate Professor of Geography Narcisa Pricope has received a Fulbright Award to research landscape degradation and teach courses in satellite remote sensing and unmanned aerial systems (UAS) photogrammetry at the University of Namibia. 

“Receiving the Fulbright Scholar Award to teach and work alongside colleagues at the University of Namibia is an opportunity of unprecedented significance for my career and a dream come true,” she said. 

The Fulbright Program is a highly competitive, merit-based grant for the international educational exchange of students, scholars, teachers, professionals, scientists and artists. UNCW was named a top producer of Fulbright U.S. Scholars for the 2017-2018 academic year among master’s institutions.
