National Weather Service forecasts indicate an increased risk of rip currents along the beaches near UNCW’s main campus. Please visit the NWS rip current risk site before heading out to the coast.

While weather forecasters believe it is still too soon to project the potential impact of Tropical Storm Florence with any level of confidence, this is a good time to review campus emergency procedures and your personal preparation plan
