Lantz, Elliott Assume New Roles in College of Health and Human Services, School of Health and Applied Human Sciences

Chris Lantz was recently named Interim Associate Dean for Academic Affairs following an internal search process. In this new role, he will be responsible for the academic affairs of CHHS. He will support CHHS’ mandate for growth by overseeing enrollment management within the college’s existing degree programs and the strategic development of new academic programs. Additionally, Lantz will oversee online programs currently being offered through CHHS’ partnership with academic partners and develop new online programs.
Steve Elliott was named Interim Director of the School of Health and Applied Human Sciences, after having served as the associate director. A longtime member of the campus community, he earned a bachelor’s from UNCW in 1996 and became a faculty member 10 years later. His commitment to providing powerful learning experiences has earned his numerous teaching awards, including the 2015 Distinguished Teaching Professorship Award.
